does anyone know any software or shell extensions so that i can quickly preview samples in windows (wav + Mp3)

i dont have a quick and easy way of previewing samples without loading up a player. my version of cakewalk wont preview audio files for some reason. till this day i have been using the sound options in control panel > windows sounds to preview audio. thanks

wimamp is decent...
the only problem is you'll have to open it once
and then you click on samples it plays quite fast
