Guidelines for Effective Video Production:
The nature of advertising and public relations has witnessed a massive change in the last few decades. With audio video presentation, it has become easier to conduct persuasive marketing. Video production became an essential tool for product promotion and at present it is almost indispensable. The advertising and public relation agencies across the world have focused more on creating television commercials, documentaries and audio visual presentations etc.Both audio and video involves high level of creativity and the broadcast scripts are written by skilled scriptwriters who can create scripts as per specifications of the corporate or individual clients. There are specific role of different individuals who remain involved with video production, it is indeed a good idea to have an overview of the different steps and roles and responsibilities of the creative people who make the audio visual commercials, documentaries and presentations. Some may be taken on film but not all of them..
Is there a name for it?

It's known as digital x-pro, or cross processing - and yes, it has a lot to do with either using the channel mixer, or curves in photoshop. There are literally TONS of tutorials on the internet. Just google the words digital x-pro or vintage digital color and you'll find what you're looking for - some simple with varied results, some quite complicated with better results. The best results come from the time you put into it and the development of your own unique technique - otherwise, your work just ends up looking like everyone else's. I used to like the technique, until everybody and their moms started doing it. Then it just faded out of my interest. Good luck with that, though.
